Day 2: Visitors From Beyond Dreams

	I had dreams of green, brain-eating monsters chasing me. They even chased me to my home, and nowhere was safe. I screamed in horror!
	And Daddy didn't appreciate it. Sorry Daddy, but the monsters were really scary! Even now, I think they are hiding outside waiting to get me!
	Daddy went back to bed, but I remember Mommy calming me down. For some reason, she set me back in my crib and ran outside to investigate some strange lights and sounds.
	Whatever it was, it took my Mommy! This has to be another bad dream; it just has to be!
	C'mon, Daddy! Wake up! Go outside and make sure Mommy is okay! Pleeeaase??
	Maybe Mommy is okay. She was brought home. I guess she went on a fun trip. She got really sick after she came home, though.
	Daddy wasn't thrilled to have to fix the toilet either.
	It was the weekend, and Daddy didn't have to work. He was really looking forward to spending time with Temeka. Marlon: "Hey Temeka! Would you like to go to the festival today? There will be skating, games, and food. It'll be fun!" Temeka: "Yeah! Alright!" My sister was really excited. I wish I could go.
	They took the cab to Central Park, and Daddy hopped out with a sprint. Marlon: "Last one there is a rotten llama!" Temeka: "Hey! No fair!"
	It's Summer, and the weather is beautiful. The perfect day to go outside. Mommy is sick in bed, I'm trapped in my crib, and they are out having a good time. Now, that really isn't fair!
	Temeka and Daddy had fun skating together, although neither one was really good at it.
	Marlon: "Hey Temeka! C'mon over and get yourself a snow cone. They taste great, and it'll help cool you off.
	Temeka did so, and afterwards she went to see a funny lady with wings perform magic tricks. My sister was amazed and wanted to know how to do tricks just like that. Temeka was a "trickster" of sorts already, so naturally she was interested in finding more ways to trick people and have fun.
	It was getting late, but did that stop Temeka and Daddy from throwing water balloons at each other? Nope. Temeka was a real pro at water balloons. It's almost as if she already had plenty of experience, which I'm sure she did. They came home, and Daddy was beat and worn out -- not to mention wet from the balloons. I could hear them giggling as they came inside. Mommy was doing better after sleeping most of the day. She was very good at waking up and seeing to my needs too.
