Day 15: Politicians, Ghouls, and Butterflies

Today is Friday, and as Daddy has said before... the weekend is almost upon us. Mommy had one more day of work this week, and she was very impressive convincing other politicians that she was right and they were wrong. They even went as far as promoting her to the City Council!I think she even convinced them that is was the right choice to promote her.
My sister Temeka went to school today. She was excited about the field trip today as well as turning in her butterfly collection.
Daddy didn't have to go to work for another few days. The fire station was being completely redesigned, and the City wanted him to recover from the burns he got from the accident. So, I was able to spend time with Daddy here at home. He did some housework, repaired the magic screen, and spent some one on one time with me too.
Sis enjoyed her trip to the mausoleum. It was at the cemetary near our house, and she came back telling stories of ghosts, goblins, and vampires. Mother had responded, "That's nice, dear."
After the field trip, Sis went back to school to turn in her butterfly activity project. She got a good grade for it and some spending money.
Daddy ordered that yummy smelling pizza again for our Family Friday tradition.
We were all looking forward to a fun weekend together. Daddy explained that this would be our last weekend of the Summer before Fall comes. I didn't quite understand what he meant. Who was Summer, and where did she fall?

  1. His mother is rising up the ranks quickly for now! Looks like things are going well for Dillon and his family and I saw they had a great Leisure day.
