Spooky Day was tomorrow. It was time to prepare for the festivities. It was also time to have some magic jelly beans, which Marlon snuck a few from Temeka's tree in her room.

| Something magical happened to Marlon after he ate them, and his mood was feeling better already. He even had a golden glow on the outside. He was curious to try his luck at the casino, but he knew he had to be at work.
|
Marlon called the babysitter and was off to work quickly.

|
| Baby Dillon looked up from his crib. Who are you? Where's Yellow Wings? One could hear Dillon crying from a block away. The new babysitter, naturally, had no idea what the real reason was for Dillon crying. He assumed Dillon needed a changing and a bottle and set out to do that for him. Dillon was annoyed in thought. This is not what I wanted!

Meggan and Temeka were the first ones home, and they sat outside carving their pumpkins for tomorrow's holiday. Meggan also had good news she wanted to share.
"They made me the leader of this town."
Temeka giggled. "That's not saying much, mom. This town is a Freak Show."
"That's not nice, Temeka", her mother warned. "They are real people who need guidance. I'm only too happy to take the responsibility to lead this town to success."

| Marlon was given his chance to carve a pumpkin too after he got home.
|
After he was done, he celebrated his wife's promotion by treating the family to a new dish he learned how to make. It was a Hot and Spicy soup. Marlon loved it, but the others weren't quite sure.
"Congratuations, fearless leader!"
Meggan nodded towards her husband in appreciation. She briefly thought about writing up a law against Hot and Spicy soup, but she quickly dismissed it.
