Day 46: Nightmares of Foreshadow

It was late. Meggan was being drawn to a building in town, but she had no idea to what or even why. Only that it was important that she arrive on time and quickly. Her destiny depended on it! What did it all mean?
She was to meet someone. Someone sweet, caring, and who wanted the best for the leader of Moonlight Falls. This would give her longevity, health, and the power she needed to rule. Oh, it was so sweet! Yet, it was painful. Very painful. What about my family? Her lips began to tremble and tears started to role out of her eyes.
Meggan woke up with a start. This was not the first time she had this nightmare. What did it all mean? The details became fuzzy with every passing second. She never could remember quite what happened, where it was, or even why it happened. She didn't have time to worry herself with it, though. She had work to do.
Marlon had work to do also. His work was a living nightmare, especially when children are involved. There was a child trapped in a huge, burning house. He had to bust his way through to save him!
The poor child! Frightened and gasping for air against the polluting smoke. Marlon was going to get him out of here and then go for the rest of the family.
"Thank you, sir. Please save my mom and dad." How could any adult ignore the pleading words of a child? Marlon had a lot of work to do. Man, this house his huge, Marlon thought as he went back in.
Mike Nix called Meggan on the phone and invited her over for a fun party. It was the perfect opportunity for her to build up relationships and campaign funds.
Meggan was a true leader. One with purpose and who cared about the people she was guiding. Mike was only too happy to let the funds flow from his wallet. The almighty Simoleon helped to push those odd nightmares away. They were just silly dreams.
