Day 41: Campaigning For The Political Party

It was not quite winter, but it was certainly getting colder. Frost started to amass across the land, and windows begin to fog.
Meggan had a party to set up at the indoor, public swimming pool. It was time to raise funds for her campaign!
Temeka had a mission as well. She shivered on her bicycle as she stopped near the river to collect some water bugs. It was the last bug needed for her collection before turning it in at the school.
Meggan approached the clerk at the front desk of the pool to arrange for renting. Meggan made some phone calls and had the party set to begin in the next couple of hours.
Many of the citizens came. They wanted to see the governor and shake her hand. It was a meet and greet as well as a chance to get to know the governor a little and her them.
Marlon brought Dillon with him to the fire station. He wanted to get a few maintenance projects finished before tomorrow.
Meggan was having a great time, and the citizens were having an even better time. As happy and joyful as they were feeling, the money was flowing very generously from their pockets. Meggan did a few dive bombs into the pool, which helped her campaign even more. By the end of the night, she had raised over $60,000!
At home, Marlon and his daughter spent time watching television talking about their weekend and the week to come.
