Meggan took in the wonderful, maple aroma of the waffles she cooked up for breakfast. She smiled, happy that her cooking was improving. Burnt waffles really didn't smell good.
Meggan had forgotten that she had today off from work. She changed into something more comfortable and sat down to read a book entitled, "People, Politics, and You".
Afterwards, Meggan picked up her baby and drove to Performance Park to see what was going on today. Nothing special, apparently.
Dillon's eyes were filling with fright. Mommy, there are floating color people right there! I've seen them in my bad dreams! Can't you see them too?
Temeka was glad to be getting rid of the rocks she had been collecting for the medical center. She wasn't sure why they were so important to them, but as long as she got money it didn't really matter. |
